How do I update CaseScan to the latest version?

Updating CaseScan

For Internet-Connected Machines:

  1. Open CaseScan on your forensic machine.
  2. Click "Check for Updates" in the upper ribbon, next to the version number on the left.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the latest version.
  4. Once downloaded, extract the ZIP file.
  5. Double-click the CaseScan executable (.EXE) file to install the update.

For Offline Machines:

  1. On a separate computer with internet access, visit activate.casescan.com and log in with your credentials.
  2. Click the Download button (cloud icon) to download CaseScan.
  3. Transfer the ZIP file to your forensic machine using a USB drive or other secure method.
